Teacher Session Descriptions:

Data-Driven Functions - Dr. Peter Klosterman: An exploration of functions from a data perspective. Participants will engage in several hands-on experiments appropriate for a HS classroom where they will gather, graph, and use technology to analyze experimental data.

Voting when Politically Divided- Jim Miller:  How is gerrymandering affecting fair representation in voting? Should we change the voting system as some states have done? Is there a better voting system? 

The Leaky STEM Pipeline- Dr Chris Black:  Women attend college at higher rates than men but only hold about 1/3 of STEM jobs.  We will look at the pipeline from high school to college to career, and investigate the stages where women drop out of STEM.
